BILLIONS® titanium dioxide is the flagship TiO₂ brand of LB Group (Lomon Billions Group) , offering rutile-grade pigments produced via both sulfate and chloride processes. The product range is widely used in coatings, plastics, inks, paper, and other industrial applications, delivering excellent whiteness, high hiding power, superior dispersion, strong weather resistance, and stable processing performance. It covers a full portfolio from general-purpose to high-performance grades to meet diverse application requirements.

Product Series of Billions® Titanium Dioxide

Coatings-Grade Titanium Dioxide. Widely used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, powder coatings, and automotive finishes. They are designed to deliver excellent weather resistance, gloss retention, hiding power, and long-term outdoor durability. Representative grades include BILLIONS R-996, BLR-895, and BLR-896, among which R-996 is a well-recognized general-purpose, high-durability grade widely used in interior and exterior coating systems.

Plastics-Grade Titanium Dioxide. Applied in masterbatch, PVC, polyolefins, engineering plastics, and other polymer systems. These grades are developed to enhance whiteness, heat resistance, low volatility, and processing stability. Representative grades such as LR-108 and BLR-886 offer excellent dispersion and low migration properties, meeting the requirements of high-load formulations and high-speed processing applications.

Inks-Grade Lomon Titanium Dioxide. Designed mainly for gravure inks, compound inks, and packaging printing systems, these pigments offer low abrasion, high tinting strength, excellent dispersion, and smooth flow. Typical grades such as BILLIONS TR53 perform particularly well in reverse gravure printing and flexible packaging applications.

General-Purpose & Multi-Functional Grades. Some grades combine performance across coatings, plastics, and industrial applications. They deliver balanced properties and broad formulation compatibility, making them suitable for multi-industry procurement and versatile formulation systems, including water-based, solvent-based, and powder applications.

High-Weatherability & Premium Chloride-Process Grades. Billions chloride-process pigments target high-end industrial and exterior applications. They provide higher purity, a cleaner blue undertone, and superior durability, making them ideal for demanding uses such as automotive coatings, coil coatings, and powder coatings. BLR-895 represents a high-performance chloride-process grade.

1. Consistent High Performance. Lomon Billions titanium dioxide offers excellent whiteness, strong hiding power, high tinting strength, and outstanding dispersion. These properties ensure stable optical performance and reliable formulation results across different application systems.

2. Advanced Manufacturing Technology. LB Group utilizes both sulfate and chloride production processes. The chloride-process grades provide higher purity, better blue undertone, and superior durability, while sulfate-process grades offer cost-effective and versatile performance for general applications.

3. Wide Product Portfolio. The Billions range covers coatings-grade, plastics-grade, inks-grade, multi-purpose, and premium chloride-process products. This allows customers to select optimized grades for different performance and cost requirements.

4. Strong Weatherability and Durability. Premium grades are engineered for demanding outdoor and industrial environments. They provide excellent weather resistance, UV stability, and long-term color retention, especially in automotive, coil coating, and powder coating systems.

5. Stable Global Supply. As one of the world’s leading TiO₂ producers, LB Group maintains large-scale production capacity and a global supply network, ensuring consistent availability and reliable delivery across more than 100 countries and regions.

Chloride Process – An advanced process that typically produces rutile TiO₂ with bright whiteness and a blue undertone. Mainstream Billions® coatings and plastics grades (e.g. BLR‑895, BLR‑896+, BLR‑891, BLR‑886, BLR‑883) are manufactured by the chloride process, offering higher whiteness, better dispersibility and higher purity.

Sulfate Process – The traditional mainstream process, producing rutile TiO₂ with bright whiteness and a neutral undertone. Billions® grades such as BLR‑601, BLR‑699 and TR53 are made by the sulfate process, which remains valuable in cost‑sensitive applications.

When selecting a Lomon Billions titanium dioxide pigment, consider the following:

(1) Define the application field – choose from coatings, plastics or inks series.

(2) Performance requirements – for higher weather resistance, whiteness, hiding power and dispersibility, select high‑end chloride grades (e.g. BLR‑896+).

(3) System compatibility – most Billions® coatings grades are compatible with both waterborne and solvent‑borne systems.

(4) Cost/performance balance – for interior uses where weather resistance is not critical, sulfate grades (e.g. BLR‑601, BLR‑699) offer excellent value.

(5) Regulatory compliance – for food contact applications, please contact LB Group for specific compliance information.
